I'M BACK!

Hi dear friends! I know I've been gone for a long time. Rest assured that I'm perfectly alright...so far. I'm touched by the messages I received while I was gone.

Anyway, I think there's a need to explain my long absence....but then there's really no explanation for it. Hahahaha. As most of my friends in the blogosphere know by now, I'm on the family way. I've been experiencing morning sickness from hell which explains my "suplada" attitude these days....teehheee....and hubby has no choice but to put up with it. My workload has been crazy. And most of all, there were the needed trips to the doctor's clinic and to the hospital.

My first ultrasound was a happy one, saw the peanut-sized foetus inside the uterus and my heart fluttered like crazy...until I saw the doctor frowning. "Doc, what's wrong?" She answered, "there seems to be a dermoid cyst in your left ovary." And that was it. What happened was a series of tests with different doctors to prove the presence of a dermoid cyst. There's really a need to remove the cyst because it's continually getting bigger in size and there's a chance that I might go into premature labor if it's not removed. The doctor assured me that it's routine procedure and the baby won't be harmed. I've been praying the rosary everyday, asking for help to make sure that the baby remains safe throughout the whole procedure and even afterwards.

So, how do you lift a sagging spirit? Why...shopping of course! It certainly won't solve the problem of my cyst but I sure do have to look at least presentable while I'm pregnant, right? So, armed with only a small amount of cash, I decided to go to the best bargain place in Manila....Divisoria. Why spend a lot of money when I get to wear maternity clothes for a few more months anyway?

So here are my bargain buys...

Php 130 or roughly US$2.60

Php 180 or approx. US$3.60

Php 100 or approx. US$ 2.00

I bought 2 of these beauties in different colors,
each at Php 100 or approx. US$ 2.00

Php 230 or approx. US$ 4.60

So, if you meet a pregnant lady one of these days wearing any of these outfits, it might just be me! :-)

Lemme guess, 168? LOL, malapit yan sa amin, just a stone's throw away. Anyways, glad to know that you're doing fine.

Like you, my ex-wife also had a cyst removed from her ovary but she was up and about the next day. So don't worry too much about the operation, sisiw na lang yan sa mga doctor.

Welcome back. Glad to hear that you are okay.

You take care always.

there you go! never let a cloud ruin a bright sunny day! loved your finds. hoy, wag ka ganyan. i am good in details so don't go into labor when someone actually approaches you and say, "I SAW THAT DRESS BEFORE. IKAW SI LADYBUG NOH?" hahahaha!

Welcome back, mare! Mwah!

Congrats. Here's praying the routing operation will keep your baby safe.

So, if we meet a HAPPY, PRETTY, SMART, pregnant lady one of these days wearing any of the outfits, it might just be Ladybug. ;)

jv> Thank you very much! Hey, I'm glad to see that you're also back. Don't worry...I'll try not to get too excited and stressed. Hope you have a SUnday ahead of you. Take care!

ladybug said...

jv> Ooppss...that was supposed to be "Hope you have an enjoyable Sunday ahead of you."

ladybug said...

vic> Thank you very much. Would have wanted to wear the outfits but I thought the outfits look better without me....hahahaha. :-D Will keep you posted. Take care and hope you have an enjoyable weekend!

ladybug said...

kyels> Thanks. Please pray for my little one. It will be much appreciated. Have an a peaceful and enjoyable Sunday! Take care. :-D

ladybug said...

But I did not go to 168, sa tutuban mall lang ako. 168 is really packed with a lot of Christmas shoppers.

When your ex-wife had the operation, was she also pregnant? I'm really worried that the medicines and the procedure will affect the foetus. But the doctor assured me that the baby will be safe. Maybe it's just my pessimistic side worrying. Thanks and have a nice Sunday! :-D

ladybug said...

myepinoy> Thanks for the concern. Hope you're doing fine also. Have a nice SUnday!

ladybug said...

:-D I'm also glad to be back. Really missed all of you while I was gone. Take care and have a nice SUnday! Mwahh!

ladybug said...

abaniko> Thanks! I agree with the "HAPPY" part...hahaha! I really hope that the routine procedure is safe for the little one. The horrible stories about "routine procedures gone wrong" give me nightmares.

Anyway, hope you have a nice and enjoyable Sunday! Take care!

snglguy said...

Actually she wasn't preggy at the time. We tried but were unsuccessful. But it was all for the best, obviously.

kyels said...

Yes, I will, definitely.

Have a beautiful Sunday ahead!

(:

snglguy> I agree. It was all for the best since things did not work out well between the 2 of you. :-D

Hi Ladybug! I'm glad you're back and am happy about the news of the forthcoming baby(bug). We'll all be counting the days!

Good attitude ladybug. Oh, I also hate morning sickness. Kaya tama na sa akin ang tatlo. ;) But they say that the more you have morning sickness, mas malakas daw ang kapit ng bata.

ipanema said...

Oh sorry to read about that cyst.

That's a lovely bargain. I was also like that when I was pregnant. Why should I waste money on expensive maternity clothes? They look functional anyway and trendy. Naku, there are a lot of cheap goods in Manila.

Anyway, take care of yourself alright? You'll be included in my prayers. Don't worry too much.

By the way, did you switch to beta?

It's okay to rest from blogging once in a while Ladybug... it's not like we're getting paid for this. :) Sometimes, it's better to rest just so we could restock our creative juices and then come back again to let them flow.

Achaka kuminsan ang buhay at trabaho... istorbo sa blogging no? :)

I'm sure that the operation with the android cyst would go well (ano nga ba ulit 'yon?) :) . Galing ng mga doctors natin.

Congratulation! This is great news!
I am sure the other things will be OK!

Senor Enrique said...

I'm sure these clothes would have looked better on camera had you modeled them :)

Trust all will turn out fine; just take it easy sometimes.

BTW, tried the pork chop from Tasty Dumplings already and featured it on my blg today. Thanks for the tip!

ladybug said...

bugsybee> Hahaha...baby bug....I like the sound of that. :-) Thanks!

ladybug said...

niceheart> I also heard about that...sana nga totoo na malakas ang kapit ng bata. If ever hanggang dalawa lang siguro.

ladybug said...

ipanema> Sorry to hear about your husband. My condolences to you and your family. I'll also include you in my prayers.

Anyway, I plan to buy a few more pieces pag malaki na talaga tyan ko.

I haven't switched to beta yet. Have you? In case you have, are you experiencing any glitches?

ladybug said...

Tsaka anong android cyst? Anyway, I'll keep you updated. Thanks!

ladybug said...

sidney> Thanks a lot! I do hope that everything will be ok. :-)

ladybug said...

eric> Thanks! I'm glad you also liked the pork chops of tasty dumpling. Maybe you'd like to try their noodles too. I also like their silver bread (?) which can be ordered either steamed or fried. Grabe...nananakam na naman ako while writing this comment. Hahahaha. Anyway, happy eating!

ipanema said...

Thanks, Ladybug.
