The Dilemma of Kris

I've always avoided showbiz topics in the past. But I just cannot resist writing about the Kris-James-Hope love triangle. Last weekend, almost every television set in the Philippines was glued to Startalk and S-Files for the much-awaited revelation of "Hope" Centeno regarding her affair with cager James Yap, husband of Kris Aquino. Rumors/jokes circulated regarding what the revelation would include, e.g. lurid details about sexual encounters, content of text messages, etc.

This probably prompted the "collapse" of Kris when she first heard about the scheduled airing of the interview of Hope by Lolit Solis. My heart goes out to Kris at this point. While I may not agree with some of the steps taken and I'm reserving my judgment about the whole controversy, I can only imagine the pain she must be going through, and at such a difficult time in her life. She's also 7 months pregnant like me (note: unfortunately the similarity ends there as I don't have her multi-million peso account nor the face of my father in the 500-peso bill). I'm having trouble as it is - lower back pain, morning sickness (yes, I still have it and in fact it's even worse now and it seems to have rubbed off on my husband too), anxieties about the baby and the upcoming delivery - without having the "supposed" infidelity of your husband being broadcast over national television. Oh well, as Lolit aptly puts it - "Next week, this will all be forgotten. Until James gets in trouble again."

At abangan ang susunod na kabanata sa mala-dramang buhay ni... *cue in violins* Kris Aquino. :-D

Showbiz will always paint the town red aye!

By the way, there is this drama called Moving On; a collaboration between Malaysia and Pinas. Are they showing it there?

(:

I'm no fan of James either. I've heard lots of news regarding his "supposed" pambababae days (pre-Kris era). Oh well...I'll just mind my own business. :-D

kyels> Hi there! Yes, there is a drama starring Ms. Carrie Lee of Malaysia ang Alfred Vargas of the Philippines. I'm not sure about the title though...I think it's "MULI". I'll have to verify. This is currently being shown every weekday afternoon, so I can't watch it coz I'm still in the office.

My wife was also all over this issue. And since we only see TFC here in Singapore, she haven't watched the other woman's enterview over her alledged escapeds with the cager. All she watched were enterviews of Kris and was very sympathetic and sometimes looked at me with probing eyes everytime Kris talks about James' excuses. Jeez...

It's really bad that this had to happen when she's pregnant, it makes it very burdensome. Sometimes I think Kris Aquino has just gotten too much in the news, with so much scandals. But right now I think she need a break from all these and have a smooth pregnancy afterwards...

It seems that Kris may have practically everything in life except for an 'good' husband. Well, kanya-kanyang cross lang yan.

There are marriages, too many that are experiencing the same as the Kris and James. Sometimes that's the price to pay for fame and fortune, every details are for public consumptions.

Compares to other hollywood and sports celebrities, where not only written but their infidelities and indiscretion are all recorded in digital and can be viewed on the internet..kris and james are not that unique.

Take care ladybug, and glad to know you are doing alright..

Kris Aquino should learn to keep things private... especially her love life. From Philip Salvador to contracting an STD from Joey Marquez to this? Do we really care?

Nakakahiya... Ninoy is rolling in grave, tsk tsk.

I like Kris. She has very endearing qualities. I'm sure she'll get over this recent madness and come out ahead as always :)

rey> Hahaha...pareho pala kami ng asawa mo. I did the same thing to my husband. Hahahaha...My husband can truly sympathize with you.

major tom> I agree..for the sake of the unborn baby. Actually, things have quite died down now, though not completely. I cannot imagine how I would cope in that predicament. Tsk tsk...

abaniko> It seems Kris is really unlucky in love.... Shangapala, congrats on winning the badminton tournament! :-)

vic> Thank you for the nice thought. I am really taking extra care of myself and the baby right now. I'm trying very hard to stick to healthy foods. Take care also! :-)

jennie> I agree with you on the point that Kris should really learn to keep some parts of her life private, especially her love life. However, in the instant case, it was not Kris who divulged to the public James' supposed infidelity. It was Hope ("the other woman") who first went public with her story. Sabi nga ni abaniko, "kanya-kanyang cross lang yan."

eric> I'm sure of that too. In the meantime, I sure hope the baby remains safe. Kawawa naman yung baby because of all the stress.

She's so unlucky when it comes to men. This is her second baby right? Yeah, as Abaniko mentioned, kanya-kanyang cross. Yan ang kanya...ang akin...sana akin na milyones nya. :)

Take care Ladybug!

ipanema> hahaha....we both wish we could have her bank account. I heard that she was the biggest individual taxpayer last year, even bigger taxes than Manny Pacquiao. :-)

You too ipanema, take care!
